The details

Why you will love this one

Close crop of the two chest pockets, each closed by a button under a curved flap

Dual utility pockets

Two flap pockets sit square on the chest, each closed by a button under a curved flap.

Close crop of the pointed collar over a placket that buttons the whole way down

Pointed collar, full placket

A crisp point collar over a placket that buttons the whole way down, so it wears open or closed to the throat.

Close crop of a long sleeve gathering into its buttoned cuff at the wrist

Buttoned cuffs

Long sleeves finish at a buttoned cuff — worn down, or folded back to the elbow.

How to wear it

Styling Tips

Three ways we wear the Gracy, drawn by hand. The shirt does the same thing in all three — tucked in, cuffs rolled to the forearm, collar left open. What changes underneath it is the belt, the bottom and the leather.

Ink and wash drawing: the shirt tucked into black wide-leg pleated trousers with a slim black belt, sleeves rolled to the forearm

At the desk

Tuck it all the way, then belt it

The whole hem goes in — a half tuck fights a pleat. A slim black belt holds the waist where the trouser wants it, and the gold buckle is answered by one chain and nothing else.

Ink and wash drawing: the shirt tucked into a white pleated midi skirt with a white belt, sleeves rolled to the forearm

Saturday, warm

Swap the trouser for a pleated skirt

Same tuck, same rolled cuff — the skirt does the rest. Keep the belt and the bag the colour of the skirt rather than the shirt, and the scarlet reads as the one thing you chose on purpose.

After six

Indigo below, tan leather throughout

High-rise denim, tucked and belted in tan, with the bag and the sandal cut from the same leather. Scarlet on indigo is the loudest of the three, so everything that is not the shirt stays quiet.
